Warner Bros has just announced the first season of
Supernatural for Blu-ray. Their specs list this as being a 2-disc set (BD-25) for all 22 episodes (936 mins), but we're fairly certain that's a misprint as season 3 had 3 discs (for 16 episodes), and season 4 had 4 discs (for 22 episodes). Expect the disc count to change.
Update: Warner has told us the set will be 4 discs, all of them BD-50s!
The set will feature widescreen (1.78:1) video (specs not given, but we assume in 1080p), along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. In case you forgot which episodes were in season 1, here's a list:

Smallville coming to Blu-ray.
