Superboy (AKA The Adventures of Superboy) - Are You Sitting Down for This One? 'The Complete 2nd Season' on DVD!
3-disc set won't be in stores, however: it'll ONLY be available online via the Warner Archive

With its successful first season having secured its status as a breakout syndicated hit, the Salkinds initiated some sweeping changes for the show's sophomore season. The biggest of the changes was the arrival of a whole new Superboy in the person of Gerard Christopher. Bringing with him a fan's enthusiasm and delight for all things Kryptonian and aided by a writing staff that included true DC Comics superstar scribes (including Andy Helfer, Cary Bates, Denny O'Neil, and Mike Carlin), Christopher sent the show soaring up into ever-more super-heroic heights.
Familiar four-color threats faced by our boy Kal-El include a now follicle challenged Lex Luthor (who makes Lana his bride decades before they did it in Smallville), Metallo, Bizarro, Mr. Mxyzptlk and Yellow Peri in this complete 26-Episode, 3-Disc Collection. Also starring Stacy Haiduk and Ilan Mitchell-Smith.
After waiting six-and-a-half years following the Complete 1st Season DVDs released the traditional in-store way, Warner is finally moving beyond the John Haymes Newton episodes and into the first of three seasons starring Gerard Christopher as the Boy Of Steel. Fans will be excited to know that next week, December 11th the Warner Archive Collection is putting out an MOD (manufacture on demand) 3-DVD set of Superboy - The Complete 2nd Season.
Priced at $29.95 SRP, this title will only be available at the studio's WBshop.com online store (see button link below) for the first few weeks. As such, it will only ship to customers with addresses in the U.S.A.; don't worry though if you don't live state-side! This item is also expected to sell shortly after through Amazon's CreateSpace MOD program, which ships globally. While you're watching these episodes, keep an eye out for guest stars like Richard Kiel (The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker), George Maharis (Route 66), Philip Michael Thomas (Miami Vice), Ami Dolenz (Ferris Bueler), Gilbert Gottfried (Aladdin), and also George Lazenby (On Her Majesty's Secret Service) and Britt Ekland (The Man With the Golden Gun) as "Jor-El" and "Lara."
