(Toronto - October 22, 2008) Prepare to uncurb your enthusiasm! The most maladroit stuntman in TV history, Super Dave Osborne, is back in stores across the country.
Bob Einstein - a.k.a. Super Dave - has been a favourite of Curb Your Enthusiasm fans for four seasons as Larry's reluctant "best friend" Marty Funkhouser. The comedy veteran's weird years as Super Dave were seen in two hit syndicated series produced-in-Canada, John Byner's Bizarre and The Super Dave Osborne Show, which is back in re-runs on SUN TV and the cable channel ACTION.
Now, comedy's klutzy answer to the legendary Evel Knievel is bringing his bone-headed best to DVD for the first time on November 25, 2008, with Super Dave's Super Stunt Spectacular Volume One, distributed by Video Service Corp.
Einstein and his partner, Winnipeg native Allan Blye, handpicked two-plus hours of hilarious ill-advised stunts for this DVD and recorded new introductions for this release, which is exclusive to his Canadian fans.
This will be the first time Canadians can experience the Super One completely uncensored. Accompanied on his various exploits by assistant stunt coordinator Fuji Hakajito (played by comedian Art Irizawa), fans will be treated to classics like the Football Hydraulic Arm, the Basketball Catapult Dunk, the Atomic Yo-Yo with guest Robbie Knievel and the Ski-Ride Bus Jump.

Like a live-action Looney Tunes, Super Dave's stunts left him hilariously twisted, stretched, shortened and accordioned, all for the sake of laughs. Now he's messed up for a new generation of fans, who'll join the old ones as aficionados of Super Dave mayhem.
