passed along word from the show's official website that the first
Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye DVDs would be available to begin buying before the end of the month ("in the next 2-3 weeks," we had said). That period is now over...and guess what? The DVDs are now available for pre-order! They begin shipping on
November 10th.
As we told you, these are not in stores, but only available online at
SueThomasDVD.com. This first release is "
Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye - 11 Episodes From Season 1," a 3-disc set. How much of the season and series is that? As you can see at
EpGuides.com, the first season had either 18 or 19 episodes, depending on whether you count the double-length Pilot as "1" or "2" episodes. There were also 19 episodes each in the second and third seasons, making for 57 (or 56, depending on how you treat the pilot) overall in the show's run.
In this case, the producers of the DVD are counting the pilot as "1" episode, since the 11 episodes on the first release include the Pilot and ten other episodes, plus "special bonus material" (as it's described on the cover art, seen at bottom). Here's a list of all the contents on this 3-DVD set, which sells for just $19.99 (plus any tax and/or shipping-and-handling fees they may charge):
