Street Justice season 1 will be released tomorrow, at least in Canada. That's right, our friends over at VEI are putting out another Cannell title, but just in Canada. Hey, at least our American friends can still
order it from Amazon.ca, right?
"One plays by the rules. The other makes his own. They're as different as night and day...Street Justice"
From Stephen J. Cannell Productions (The A-Team, The Rockford Files) comes STREET JUSTICE starring Carl Weathers (Rocky, Predator, Action Jackson, Happy Gilmore) as Sergeant Adam Beaudreaux, a "by the book" police officer fighting crime with the help of martial arts expert Grady Jameson (Bryan Genesse). The two first met years ago when a young Grady saved Beaudreaux's life in the trenches of Vietnam. Reunited after twenty years, now they protect the streets in their own way: Beaudreax by the laws of justice and Grady by the laws of the street.
Helping in their fight for justice are Malloy (Charlene Fernetz), the daughter of Beaudreaux's former partner and the co-owner of the local bar and Miguel Mendez (Marcus Chong), a former gang leader.
Season One features guest appearances by Academy Award(r) Nominated Actress Salma Hayek, Carrie Ann Moss (the Matrix films), pop singer Debbie Gibson, Steve Bacic (Andromeda, Stargate SG-1), Dustin Nguyen (21 Jump Street) as well as a cameo from William B. Davis (the infamous "Cigarette Smoking Man" from The X-Files).
For adventure and drama mixed in with stunning martial arts action... take it to the streets with the Complete First Season of STREET JUSTICE on DVD!
The set includes all 21 episodes (digitally remastered) from the first season, including the 2-hour TV movie that launched the series, all on 5 discs. A Collector's Booklet holds episode descriptions and character profiles, and they've also tossed in "Home For Christmas," a bonus episode from
Riptide. The set sells for $49.99 Canadian, but you can
order it from Amazon.ca for $34.99. And yes, Canada is region 1 as well, so it'll play in your DVD player if you live in the US.
