Steve Canyon - 2nd DVD Volume Announced: Episode List, Cost, Target Date & More!

Steve Canyon - The Complete TV Series, Volume 2 has now been announced over at the official DVD Blog site for the classic NBC program. The March 3rd-targeted release (subject to change) on 2 DVDs, available only through that website, can be pre-ordered for $19.95 as of this writing, and includes 12 episodes which pick up in production order from the first volume (episode numbers given to the right indicate the airdate order):

14. "Operation Crash Landing" (Episode #11)
15. "Operation Mushroom" (Episode #10)
16. "The Gift" (Episode #13)
17. "Operation Big Thunder" (Episode #15)
18. "The Search" (Episode #17)

20. "The Prisoner" (Episode #18)
21. "Operation Souvenir" (Episode #19)
22. "The Fight" (Episode #20)
23. "The Robbery" (Episode #21)

Dean Fredericks stars as the title character, and show regular Jerry Paris also appears beginning with "Operation Big Thunder," an episode which marked a format change in the series (more details on that are over at the show's DVD Blog). Other stars seen in the episodes on these discs include Richard Anderson (The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman), William Schallert (Get Smart, The Patty Duke Show), Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek, In Search Of), Hayden Rorke (I Dream of Jeannie, Dr. Kildare), Lennie Weinrib (H.R. Pufnstuf, Voltron), Gavin MacLeod (The Love Boat, The Mary Tyler Moore Show) and Mary Tyler Moore (The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show).

All episodes feature restored video and audio, plus there will be extras on these discs similar to what was seen in the first volume. That includes audio commentary track on "Operation B-52", "Operation Mushroom" and probably some others.
