With a high volume of other news stories today, we were planning to save this news until tomorrow morning, but we're getting so many e-mails from readers (and we appreciate everyone's enthusiasm!) that we just couldn't wait. This past year Comedy Central started a new series,
Stella, starring Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain. The serious look of the suits they wear does not convey the silliness that these three guys bring to the screen, and fans have been looking for DVDs of the show's first season (10 episodes).
The
official Stella website is now reporting that the "
Stella TV Series DVD probable release is fall '06." That's all the info posted there, but a rumor on the message board at another site, StellaFans.com, says that there will be a gag reel on this release as an extra. Take that with a grain of salt, though, until the official announcement comes in. Stay tuned and we'll provide updates just as soon as we get them. Thanks to everyone who wrote in!
