Fox/MGM have announced the first
Stargate Universe release, titled "SGU 1.0" on information we've seen, for
February 9, 2010. This 3-disc set includes the first 9 episodes (516 mins) of the series, with the first episode being double-length:

Stargate release without a ton of commentary tracks. The information we have for the commentaries on the first disc simply lists "Brian J. Smith, David Blue and Elyse Levesque," so it's unclear whether they provide commentary for each of the episodes on the disc, or whether they simply provide commentary on the first double-length episode (which is how we've listed it below) (

The 2-disc set includes the same episodes as the DVD release, with episodes presented in Widescreen (1.78:1) (likely 1080p), with 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1; subtitles are available in English, French & Spanish. Suggested retail price is $69.99 US, or $89.99 CAN.
