A week-and-a-half ago we
relayed news from the team at SG1Archive.com that stated the release date of the
Stargate SG-1 - Season 8 Box Set would be on
Oct. 4th. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, which owns MGM these days, has confirmed the release date with their heads-up announcement this morning. The info is bare-bones at this time, adding only that this will be a 5-DVD set that has a $55.95 SRP. In fact, the studio info doesn't even provide the cover art yet which you
can see at SG1Archive.com's site. Stay tuned, though, and when more information is provided we will pass it along to you.
