Last week our friends in the home video retail industry
gave us the info that the upcoming Direct-to-DVD release of
Stargate SG-1 - The Ark of Truth is officially confirmed for a
March 11th release date, and other info besides. This morning our same friends (thank you, as always!) told us that MGM and distributor Fox Home Entertainment has now revealed an extra that will be included on this DVD.

Stargate SG-1: The Road Taken: Prelude to
The Ark of Truth" is a featurette which reportedly will examine the ending of the 10-season-long series and the decision to wrap up the ongoing Ori storyline, among other plot threads, in this made-for-DVD feature. There MAY additionally be a look in this at the second Direct-to-DVD production,
Continuum, planned for release later in 2008, but that's not confirmed yet.
That's all the info they had about it so far, and they don't have cover art yet, either. But stay tuned, and we'll bring that to you just as soon as we can!
