Reader Paul Gillespie let us know about a manufacturing error with the Canadian
Stargate: Atlantis sets released on Tuesday; disc 5 contains the same content as disc 1. Paul went through a frustrating series of emails with the company before they sent him the following letter:
Dear Mr. Gillespie:
It has been determined that this is indeed a manufacturing error specific to Canada alone. The product has been recalled and new product will arrive in store shortly. In order to obtain a replacement set please follow the instructions below.
Once again, thank you very much for taking the time out to report this
issue.
Kind Regards,
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment

Canadians affected by this problem should send an email to
SPHE_Customer_Service@spe.sony.com. A very special thanks to Paul who suffered through his share of form letters from Sony as he tried to explain the issue with the sets to them.
This is the latest production hassle Canadians have faced lately. And people thought the "Made in Mexico" sticker was a sign of problems - yikes!
