StarTrek.com has posted a survey, and it's fun and exciting, because YOU get to help decide which episodes will be on the next round of best-of releases...and even help decide what the next best-of release will be! Paramount is planning to help spread all 5
Star Trek series around to the masses, by providing low-cost sets aimed at the fans who aren't interested in the season sets already out (or, in the case of
Enterprise, coming out soon). You can take the survey by clicking

Even if you don't intend to buy these, you can help decide what newbies to the
Trek legend ought to see when they get their first taste of the phenomenon by buying or renting these sets. The themes that Paramount is trying to decide between, with your help, are Klingons, Borg, Time Travel, and our omnipotent friend Q. They seem to indicate that they want to release all four, and they just need to figure out what order these should come out:

But the survey doesn't end there! Once you've decided on your favorite themes, you get to pick up to 5 choices from the various episodes that cater to those themes. For instance, just below is a shot of the episode choices from the "Q" theme. For Klingon and Time Travel, choices extend to all 5 shows: TOS, TNG, DSN, VOY, and ENT. No, sorry...TAS (The Animated Series) isn't among the choices.

After you've made these choices for all four sets, you'll have an opportunity to give your feedback about future themed releases for
Star Trek DVDs. Then, if you want to, you can sign up to possibly win free copies of
Enterprise DVDs.
