This morning there was a post over at
The Digital Bits website that many of us have been waiting for! They have gotten some information from their retail sources about the release dates of the original
Star Trek season sets. Here's the run-down:
- Season 1 on 8/31
- Season 2 on 11/2
- Season 3 on 12/7
- The Complete Series on 12/7
This goes along with
what we've said all along: that the entire series would make it out onto DVD in season-by-season box sets before 2004 was over!
Stay tuned, because we're still trying to get all the details about the 2nd and 3rd season releases, which are reportedly going to be in blue and red box sets, to go along with the typical uniforms seen in the show. Perhaps the "Complete Series" will be in a box that is "command green"? If and when we find out, we'll let you know!
