This DVD release was inevitable: Paramount Home Entertainment is preparing to assimilate all
Star Trek fans with a
March 7th release of
Star Trek - Borg Fan Collective. This is a 4-DVD collection (719 minutes) featuring the top ten most popular Borg episodes "
as picked by the fans." While an exact list of episodes is not yet available, Paramount indicates that the selections are taken from
Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager and
Star Trek: Enterprise.
Cost is not available yet, either, nor have we seen any mention of whether there will be any extras on board this release. Stay tuned and we'll see what we can find out. In the mean- time, we have this nifty shot of the packaging:
