Fans of Star Trek: The Next Generation will be pleased to know that Paramount has a gift for you this holiday season: a $25 rebate!
According to an ad on page 4 of the Nov. 2-8 issue of TV Guide (Shania Twain cover), specially marked boxes of TNG Season 5 will contain a Rebate Certificate. It specifies that customers who purchase TNG Seasons 5, 6, and 7 on or before December 31, 2003 will be eligible to receive a $25 rebate by mail. Season 7 will street on December 31, 2002...giving you a year to complete your purchase and be eligible for the rebate!
The fine print reads as follows: "Offer valid in U.S. and Canada except Quebec. Payments to eligible U.S. residents made in the amount of $25 U.S. dollars. Payments to eligible Canadian residents made in the amount of $30 Canadian dollars. Consumers must purchase all three seasons (5, 6 & 7) by December 31, 2003 to be eligible for the rebate. Details inside specially marked DVD sets."
