A few weeks ago we
posted early info about
Square Pegs - The Complete Series, coming to DVD from Sony on
May 20th. The info and package art we had at the time was incomplete and not necessarily final, because it came from an early heads-up sent to retailers. This morning Sony has formally announced the title, and also published a full-page ad in the various trade magazines, so we've got a bit of an update for you as a result!
Sony's formal announcement mentions that the "exclusive new interview with [show star Sarah Jessica] Parker" will actually be a featurette called "Weemawee Yearbook Memories," which will contain Interviews with the entire Cast and Crew of
Square Pegs (Parker included, we assume). They confirm that this will be a 3-DVD set running $29.95 SRP, and give the following disc-by-disc episode breakdown:

Additional, Sony's info shows that this will come in Full Frame 1.33:1 video, with English Mono audio and subtitles in English and French. The formal announcement didn't have any artwork attached to it, but the trade ads we mentioned above did have something different-looking than the temp art we showed you in our previous announcement. However, this picture was ALSO labeled "Artwork Subject to Change," so keep in mind that the shot below may still not be the final package art. We'll let you know when we get that from Sony, so stay tuned!
