It's been
more than a year since we've had the chance to pass along a studio announcement for a
SpongeBob SquarePants (half-)season set for you, and fans have waited desperately for word of a new release since last September's launch of that package, which was
Season 5, Volume 1. "Where's the rest of that season?," we've been asked. This morning, Nickelodeon and Paramount FINALLY answered that question by announcing
SpongeBob SquarePants - Season 5, Volume 2!
The release date is over a year after the first part of the season came to DVD, with a
November 18th in-store schedule. The studio says it "
features 21 hysterically absorbent episodes in a 2 disc set! Includes fun collectible package and exclusive special features." Video is listed as full-screen, and audio is given as English - Stereo. No further details were provided, nor any pictures of the packaging. Stay tuned, though, and we'll keep you updates as we squeeze more info out of the studio!
