Following up on their successful release of the first season set early last month, Shout! Factory has today told retailer to expect
Spin City - The Complete 2nd Season to arrive on
April 28th. The new 4-DVD set picks up with 24 new episodes (540 minutes) of the sitcom starring Michael J. Fox in his Emmy-nominated role as New York City's Deputy Mayor Mike Flaherty. Shout! hopes to get Fox and other cast and crew members back to do bonus material such as commentary tracks, but nothing is finalized yet.
Jennifer Esposito (
Samantha Who) joins as a recurring character this year. Look for guests to include Raquel Welch, Mark Linn-Baker, Regis Philbin and Kathie Lee Gifford, Tracy Pollan (Fox's wife), Kim Raver, Former Mayor Edward I. Koch, Alyssa Milano, Donald Trump, Mos Def, Jimmy Fallon, Milo O'Shea and Amy Poehler. Wow. Pricing isn't available yet, but stay tuned and we'll update you on that and anything else we find out about, just as soon as we can. For now, here's a look at the front of the box!
