Several weeks ago we
reported that the Michael J. Fox sitcom
Spin City would return to DVD on
November 4th, per a pre-order listing at Amazon for a Season 1 set. Last week we
posted an update that the Amazon listing had been taken off, but that the release was still in-the-works...we even had a nice long list of bonus material to share with you about this 4-disc set. However, we also mentioned that we had gotten some doubt cast on our earlier information, that it was Shout! Factory working on this release.
Now we've confirmed that it is indeed Shout! after all, and that the release date and configuration we reported (4 DVDs with 24 episodes, plus bonus material that features 5 commentary tracks and more) is correct. We learned, however, that the original Amazon listing that showed a $19.99 list price was NOT correct, and was not put up with cooperation with Shout!, which is why the listing was removed. A new Amazon listing will go up in the not-too-distant future, with Shout!'s participation and with a correct list price.
So far we don't have the finalized list price for you, nor the package art yet. But stay tuned and we'll provide those to you just as soon as we can!
