This past Tuesday saw the release in Canada of
The Incredible Hulk - When Monsters Meet, from the 1982 animated series. Shortly after it was announced last April, we
reported that Morningstar Entertainment was also planning 8 further Canadian releases of titles taken from Prism Video's old "Marvel Comics Video Library" of VHS tapes. Now we've got Morningstar's official announcement of the first of those DVDs.
August 19th will see the release of
Spider-Man - vs. Doctor Octopus. It will come with two cartoons from the classic 1967 animated series: "The Power of Doctor Octopus" and "Sub-Zero for Spidey." The DVD release is also expected to have 2 bonus episodes from the same series: "The Terrible Triumph of Doctor Octopus" and "Magic Malice." The running time is listed as 57 minutes, and the cost is CA$14.98 SRP. Here's the studio description and package art for it:
Hidden in his mysterious lair, the multi-armed super-villain uses a diabolical invention to blow out all the power in New York - but can Spider-Man turn the lights on again?
