This past April we passed the word that Morningstar Entertainment of Canada would be releasing a DVD, Spider-Man - The Vulture, featuring an episode taken from the 1981 animated series Spider-Man program. Also included would be two bonus cartoons from the 1967 edition of Spider-Man: "The Vulture's Prey" and "The Dark Terrors". We've also talked about a separate release of The New Fantastic Four - vs. Doctor Doom, which would have the 1978 New Fantastic Four cartoon "Meet Doctor Doom" and the 1981Spider-Man cartoon "Cannon of Doom".
Now we've learned that both of these DVDs are coming, but bundled together with an already-released title in a package called Villians Showdown. The other title included is recently-released Spider-Man - vs. Doctor Octopus (from the 1967 series). The cost on this 3-disc set is CA$29.98 SRP for 133 minutes. This gift set will be available in Canada, starting November 4th. We've got a small look at the package ; stay tuned for a larger look just as soon as we get it!
