Could Tinker, Debbie, Mark and
Speed Buggy be coming to DVD? Absolutely! The classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon series is heading home next year, according to
a comment made a week ago by the studio people at the Warner Archive Collection's fan page on Facebook. The manufacture-on-demand (MOD) program's team was asked about this show, along with
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids, a few days prior by fan William Andrews. What Warner told him in response was this: "
But, of course! The animation bonanza continues here! Look for SPEED BUGGY early next year." So in the first few months of 2011, it seems, we'll have the chance to buy all 16 episodes starring the voice cast of Mel Blanc (
Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century), Michael Bell (
The Transformers, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Votlron, Challenge of the Super Friends), Arlene Golonka (
Mayberry R.F.D., Airport '77, My Tutor) and Phil Luther Jr. as "Tinker." Stay tuned for updates about this tile, just as soon as they are available!
