Yesterday we
showed off a cropped image from Sony's trade ad for
The Spectacular Spider-Man - Volume 6 and
The Spectacular Spider-Man - Volume 7 on DVD. We only showed off the package art portion of the sale sheet (see below), but a portion of the overall trade ad confirmed Sony's original plans for a February 2nd release of both titles. Today, however, we've learned that the studio has just pushed both volumes back a couple of weeks. No reason for the delay was available, but you can update your calendar now to show that these are arriving on
February 16th. Retailers such as Amazon are expected to update their listings in the not-too-distant future, so you can still place your pre-orders and they'll deliver these DVDs on the correct street date.
