Early this past December we
gabbed the gossip that episodes from the first season of
Spaceballs: The Animated Series would come to DVD around March/April. Now the word is starting to get out that MGM and distributor Fox Home Entertainment have firmed up and finalized their release plans. According to an early alert to retailers - and one which is still subject to change, mind you! - the plan right now is to make this available on
June 16th.
Episodes you'll find on board include "Outbreak," "Skroobinator," "Deep Ship" and "Grand Theft Starship." You'll also get Intermissions such as "Satisfied Customers," "Thanks for Your Order" and "Sing Along with Skroob." The whole thing starts off with "The Moron's Guide" and finishes with material like "And That's Not All!" and "One More Goodie." If all that makes sense to you (or even if it doesn't!) then you'll want to set aside 100 minutes of your time, and a price of $19.98 SRP, for this title.
