NBC is well-known for their "Must-See TV" block of programming on Thursday nights. ABC has their Friday night "TGIF" block. But when you think of The Cartoon Network, you think of "Adult Swim."
What is Adult Swim? According to its creators, it "is Cartoon Network's late-night programming block of cartoons that appeal to a grown-up sense of humor and other adult sensibilities." Rather than airing one night a week, Adult Swim is well-known for its Sun-Thu night runs at 11PM-2AM Eastern time.
What does all of this have to do with DVD? Glad you asked! The Cartoon Network, in conjunction with Warner Brothers Home Video, have just issued their first official pre-announcements for
The Cartoon Network Adult Swim Promotion. They aren't giving away too many details yet, but they have said this much:

All information is tentative, and subject to change. But independant sources confirm that a huge marketing campaign is in-the-works pushing the November 18th date, so that's about as firm as you can get.
