Just yesterday we
brought you great news about Best Buy's exclusive early release of
Space: Above and Beyond on DVD: the price was marked down by $3 to $41.99, and the release date was moved closer, to
Sept. 6th. Later in the day, we
posted a story about Fox's upcoming retail releases, and mentioned that a more general release of the series is "Coming Soon" for all other retailers. In the meantime, though, we have new info from Best Buy about this set:

Now the new young recruits of the United States Marine Corps Space Aviator Calvary are headed for the front lines in the toughest battle the world has ever had to face. Thrust into an intergalactic war, these untested fighter pilots suddenly find themselves waging a life-and-death struggle to protect Earth and to save mankind from total annihilation.
