Paramount has let us know a bit about their June plans. And they say that South Park - The Complete 4th Season is on the schedule for one of the Tuesdays that month. A retail source provided us with a specific date, but when we asked the studio about it, they made it very clear to us that no specific date had been chosen. June IS the month, however. Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny return in 17 fourth-season episodes, including "A Very Crappy Christmas," which pays homage to (and contains scenes from) the original South Park pilot, "The Spirit of Christmas." Dare we hope that the pilot finally show up on DVD as an extra? We doubt it, but there's always a chance. We'll keep an eye on this, so stay tuned for further updates as they become available.
To further whet your appetite, we have a report from the March 8 issue of the Video Business trade magazine that the 5th Season is also already in-the-works. No timeframe was given, though. Stay tuned for more news about that release, too!
