A few weeks back we
reported that the HD-DVD version of
The Sopranos - Season 6, Vol. 1 had been delayed. It previously was supposed to come out on Nov. 7th, along with the standard DVD release, but HBO pushed it back with no word on a new date...at least, there wasn't at that time.
For the past week there have been indications that HBO Home Video would try to get this out in time for the Christmas holiday season, and now the studio has confirmed that this is the case. Both HD-DVD and Blu-ray versions will be in stores on
December 19th, at $129.95 SRP for either one. So fans of the show can ask to get this under the tree, and have themselves a merry hi-def Christmas!
