HBO Home Video's "The Sopranos" first and second season DVD sets won a VSDA (Video Software Dealers Association) award for "Sell-Through Title of the Year By An Independent Studio." Other TV titles nominated in this category include: "Sex & The City," also from HBO Home Video, "Queer As Folk" from Showtime Entertainment Networks and "Twin Peaks Season One" from Artisan Entertainment.
"The Sopranos Season One" also won a 2002 DVD technical award in the "Best of Show - Non-Theatrical" category.
