Shout! Factory is getting together a new 2-disc collection of cartoon yuletide adventures with their upcoming DVD release called
DiC's Animated Christmas Blast. This 150-minute compilation will have several holiday-themed episodes from various DiC-produced animated series, including the
Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog "Christmas Blast" special
was previously released on DVD as a separate disc.
This will be available starting on
September 9th. Cost is $14.99 SRP, and you can
pre-order from Amazon right away at a discounted price. We've asked Shout! about the detailed contents for this release, but they were not able to immediately provide them. Stay tuned, though, and we'll bring you that info, plus package art, when they become available.
