Late this past June we brought you the official
announcement from Time Life about their exclusive package,
The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour - The Best of Season 3: Premium 5-Disc Release. At the time the studio expected to begin sending this product out to consumers by now, having taken orders for a while and planning to begin shipping the package this past Friday, August 1st. This morning a spokesman for Time Life informs us that this didn't happen on time, and offers the studio's apologizes to consumers while providing this explanation:
Because of production delays, the product will now ship on August 25th. The primary delay is completion of all the bonus material, but we hope fans find that it will be worth the wait. There are over 5 hours of way-cool bonus features, including Rehearsal and Behind-the-Scene Footage, Rare Outakes, Interviews, and much, much more.
