We received more information from "Agent 86," the source that provided us with the info we used in our
previous news item about the set. We tried to get this information confirmed by Time-Life, but were unable to, so treat this as a strong rumor, and not fact.
Our
last news item mentioned that Barbara Feldon, and creators Mel Brooks and Buck Henry were providing commentary on the first set. We're told that Brooks and Henry will do commentary on the pilot, "Mr. Big," and Feldon provides commentary on "Kisses for KAOS."
There's an episode from
The Bill Dana Show included on the set, and a 60 min Museum of Television & Radio seminar from November, 2003 which featured Don Adams, Barbara Feldon, executive producer Leonard Stern, guest star Bernie Kopell and producer/director Jay Sandrich talking about the series. And we can expect bloopers, NBC promos, a sixteen minute featurette, "The Secret History of Get Smart," and much more.
Time-Life has roughly a 1 year exclusive period on this release, so don't expect to find it in stores until next fall. Until then you'll have to order it from Time-Life through their website, or by phone.
