The other day
we posted news that
Smallville season 5 was coming to HD-DVD on
November 28, making it the first HD-DVD TV show (it would have been second, but
The Sopranos was postponed).
Take a look at the packaging for the HD-DVD release below. We clipped out the A/V specs so you could take a look at how they're being displayed. One thing that's a bit odd is the aspect ratio - 1.85:1. This is different from the aspect ratio of the episodes on DVD, which is 1.78:1.
