Since Christopher Reeve's guest appearance this past week on Smallville, there has been renewed interest in getting this popular show released in the USA, or preferably in all of Region 1, but as season sets.
Unfortunately, we should not hold our super-breaths. In a January
13th article from The Hollywood Reporter (paid registration required), the Chairman and CEO of Turner Broadcasting System, Jamie Kellner, stated that "the WB's hit 'Smallville' will be released on DVD next year."
Well, in that case, we can look forward to 2004 being a "super" year!
