In our
news item at the end of May, we brought you an early concept shot of the package for
Sliders - The 1st and 2nd Seasons Dual-Dimension Edition, as well as menu screens and a look at the supplements.
Now we have obtained the final cover art for you to look at, directly from Universal Studios Home Video. As we mentioned before, this is being billed as "the collectible package of the year":
We're relatively certain that the 6 DVDs won't just "hang there" in the box in the way they're depicted; this is probably just a variation on the usual "pop-out discs" box art that some studios like to show for retail ads. On the other hand, we don't exactly know how the discs will be housed, either. Probably in the usual manner, though.
One more tidbit for you this morning: one of the supplements we mentioned last time, the featurette "The Making of Sliders," has been confirmed to have participation by cast members Jerry O'Connell (Quinn Mallory) and Cleavant Derricks (Rembrant "Crying Man" Brown).
