Grievously injured in the crash of an experimental aircraft, Colonel Steve Austin's shattered body is covertly rebuilt via the miracle of modern science known as bionics. October 2nd they will have a "wide" general retail release of the individual
The Six Million Dollar Man - Season 2 DVD package.
Note that we're aware how this title has arelady been available in recent months as an exclusive to one particular retailer, but we don't ever post about items exclusive to a single brick-and-mortar seller at the expense of all the others; we always wait for general retail releases before we will cover the title. This is not just our own policy at this website, but also at the preference of each of the studios who cooperate in such deals, and each of the sellers who put on these exclusivity offers.
The separate release of
The Six Million Dollar Man - Season 2 is a 6-DVD set, which includes the episodes "The Bionic Woman - Part 1" and "Part 2"; these were written by Kenneth Johnson (who was the showrunner on the spin-off show, and is also known for TV versions of
The Incredible Hulk, Alien Nation and the original
V mini-series). Kenny provides Audio Commentary tracks for these two episodes, and the set's extras also include "Season 2 VIPs" (a celebration of the guest stars in these 22 episodes) and the "Bionic Sound Effects" Featurette.Video is full frame, audio is in the original English mono, and subtitles are in English.
