Fans of
Six Feet Under, and other HBO original series, are used to being able to figure out when last's year's episodes are coming to DVD because HBO usually releases that season on disc when the new season is getting ready to air. But since
Six Feet Under ended after the 5th Season, that way of guess-timating the release timeframe doesn't do us a bit of good!
Until HBO or distributor Warner Home Video make their announcement, there are a limited number of way to know when to expect
Six Feet Under - The Complete 5th Season. And we haven't heard any rumors here, at least not yet.
But it must be getting close, we think. At least NetFlix thinks so. One of our readers, April Holcomb, spotted
an entry at the online rent-tailer for
Season 5, and was quick to share that info with us. NetFlix members will be able to see that the listing shows an availability date of
March 28th. The only part of this listing which looks weird is that the art shown is the same art which makes up the cover of the second season box set. No worries, though...that art was also the main promo art for the series, used in a lot of advertising, so it would be no surprise that NetFlix would pick it as temp art for the listing.
