Sorry folks, but it's show and tell day.

The other day I heard that The Complete Far Side Collection had been released in one massive set and I knew I had to have it. I pikced it up the other day (well, I had someone pick it up for me since I was sick) and it's impressive. Every single Far Side cartoon in 2 volumes, with 1250 pages. The set is as impressive as the work it contains. Beautiful, thick pages that hold over 4,300 cartoons, many of them in color (about half), and 1,100 cartoons that haven't made it in any of the books. The case is even amazing, made from thick cardboard and with 2 cool illustrations, one on each side.

Now to make this related to DVDs, there were 2 Far Side TV specials, both of which are available on VHS. I called FarWorks, Inc and asked if there were any plans to release them on DVD, but the lady informed me that Gary Larson doesn't want his work digitized at all, so they probably won't even be released on DVD. Big bummer!

So, if you're a Far Side fan, know that this set is worth the cash. Click the Amazon.com picture below to find out more.
