Wow, how time flies. It's hard to believe we're a year old. A lot has happened in the past year, so let's go over the higlights...
-Over 18,000 registered users
-An average of over 80,000 visitors per month
-We've been mentioned in The Edmonton Journal, USA Today, NY Daily News, US News & World Report and Video Store Magazine (probably missing some as well)
-We were in LA and NYC for meetings to discuss TV products, and visited the VSDA show in Vegas
-We have contacts at most of the major DVD studios and they've had a lot of good things to say about the site
-We received our first "Ceast & Desist" letter and threat of a lawsuit (you know you're going places when you almost get sued)
I'd like to thank Dave Lambert for all his help over the past year. He's helped me with reviews as well as general work on the site (news items, adding TV shows and DVD releases). He's also helped to keep me focused and motivated, and I don't think I would have survived this year without him. Thanks a bunch Dave!!
We also entered into a partnership with Dry Grass Partners, LLC to explore the possibilities of getting more niche shows on DVD.
