Animation author/historian Jerry Beck will make his eighth appearance as Stu Shostak's in-studio guest on "
Stu' Show," the signature program on Shokus Internet Radio (www.shokusradio.com) LIVE this Wednesday, January 28th beginning at 4:00 p.m. PST (7:00 p.m. EST).
"
Stu's Show" has been devoting the entire month of January to the subject of animation, and Jerry's appearance will conclude what has been a fabulous block of shows on the program. Jerry's new book, "
The 100 Greatest Looney Tunes" is due out later this year, as well as several new DVD box sets including Warner Brothers' "
Saturday Morning Cartoons" and "
The Fleischer Superman Cartoons" (an official version at long last), Universal's "
Best of Woody Woodpecker" discs, and a new
Popeye box spotlighting the first of the color shorts in the series, all featuring Jerry's participation. All of this plus whether Warner will continue "
The Looney Tunes Golden Collection" will be discussed in detail, as well as the news that a live action
Tom and Jerry feature has just been announced to go along with previously-mentioned CGI and live action films based on "
Yogi Bear" and "
The Jetsons." Plus, the station's toll-free phone number will be available for listener participation during the broadcast.

Stu's Show" airs live each Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. PST on Shokus Internet Radio, with rebroadcasts at the same time daily.
