Almost every studio's got some sort of super-duper TV-show-on-DVD collection that they want to sell you this Fall, "just in time for Christmas" (or thereabouts). Some come in quite normal packaging, others come in a premium package meant to appeal to DVD collectors in general, as much as to fans of the particular show featured in the box.
Over in my DVD Guy blog post tonight, I talk about these and have an in-depth look at a few of the most-wanted of these sets. Please drop by and check it out, and use the blog's comments area to give us YOUR thoughts about all of these releases. Are you planning to buy these? Do you like the elaborate packaging? Or does it cause a problem to store on your shelves at home? Do you feel bummed that you've been collecting these in season sets over the years, and now the studio wants you to double-dip in order to get the packaging, or the new extras? Is the price right? No, I couldn't squeeze every single item into this list that deserves to be here, but these 30 titles represent a pretty large portion of the group!
