In my first-ever post last Wednesday at my brand-new TVGuide.com blog, "DVD Guy", I talked about the rights issues keeping
The Six Million Dollar Man and
The Bionic Woman (original) off of the DVD market in the USA. I didn't plan on an update quite so soon, but after around 10,000 of you read that first post (THANK YOU!) and responded with questions, I decided to follow up quickly with a run-down of other shows being held up for similar reasons.
Titles include
Batman, The Green Hornet, Marvel Superheroes, The Dean Martin Show (with a link to a new development in that case) and
Judging Amy. Read the latest entry at
the DVD Guy blog!
Oh, and be sure to leave comments and let me know what you think, okay? If you have any questions, ask them there in the comments (instead of e-mailing us) so we can answer where everyone can see the responses. Keep in mind that just because a release hasn't happened yet, does not mean it's held up by a legal issue (the studio may not consider it a release that will sell, for example).
