Site News - Amazon's 'Hi-Def as Low as $14.99' Sales Includes Lost, High School Musical 2, Serenity And More!

Amazon is having a pair of sales right now, one on Blu-ray Disc and one on HD DVD releases, where you can get various high-definition releases for significant discounts over the normal prices. The hook Amazon is advertising is "as low as $14.99," but obviously not everything's quite that cheap...especially for TV box sets. Still, there are good bargains here and it's well worth a look!
The titles are mostly movies, of course, but among the Blu-ray side's 229 choices you'll find Lost - Season 3, High School Musical 2, The Company, Rescue Me, both seasons of Weeds and all four volumes from the first season of Masters of Horror.
For the other sale, everything is just movies, but some of the 84 HD DVD title choices include TV-related films such as Firefly spin-off Serenity, all three Mission: Impossible films, the recent Transformers blockbuster, and the original theatrical version of Friday Night Lights...all of possible interest to our readers.
