Site News - Amazon Starts 'Black Friday' Today: Online Sale Includes Many TV-DVDs

Amazon's constantly running great sales on TV-DVDs, and since they are one of our affiliate online retail partners, we will often "advertise" for them and pass on word of these sales. We only talk up them and our other partner, DVDEmpire, so we're not the place to look for info about what's going on at Best Buy or Wal-Mart or anywhere else...there are plenty of other sites that can help you there.
But Amazon does have a great new sale for "Black Friday", and they've already started it up today, Thanksgiving Day! The sale covers a ton of DVDs of all sorts, but their TV-DVD section has two screens worth of great programs on disc. Some of the ones you'll find there include Seinfeld, The Office, Smallville, House, One Tree Hill, That '70s Show, The Adventures of Superman and Monk.
TVShowsOnDVD's founder and webmaster, Gord Lacey, has updated his Commentary Track blog at TVGuide.com, ranting about how there's no "Black Friday" in Canada and asking shoppers to talk about the bargains they've found today. Head on over there and join the discussion!
