Some of you may recall the day 6 years ago (well, 6 years and a day) when TVShowsOnDVD.com officially launched. We launched on November 1st, 2001 with just over 1000 TV shows and 500 releases in the database. In the past six years we've grown to include over 9,500 shows, over 7,150 DVDs, and over 300,000 registered users. Dave and I wanted to take the time to thank all our visitors for making us the #1 source for TV-on-DVD news.
The biggest event of this past year happened in February when we joined the TV Guide family. While some users were worried the site would start to suck, I think most would agree the site has become better, especially with the addition of the "Show Info Pages" that include all the news, reviews, and DVD releases on a single page.
Thanks for all the support you've given us this past year; we hope the next year brings more of your favorite shows to DVD.
