This morning, Fox Home Entertainment has officially provided retailers with details, including a release date and disc-by-disc contents, for The Simpsons - The Complete 12th Season. The information includes final high-res artwork for the regular "unlimited" box (which we've seen before; see bottom) and our first look at the packaging for The Simpsons - The Complete 12th Season (Limited Edition Comic Book Guy Head) (shown above).
Both versions will be on standard DVD format, and will be available on August 18th. Cost is $49.98 SRP for either package option, and both are discounted to $31.99 at this time, if you pre-order right away from Amazon (see the button links near each box picture above and below; that cost is subject to change without notice, however, at Amazon's discretion). Running time is 506 minutes on 4 discs. Video is full frame. Audio options are English 5.1 Dolby Surround, Spanish Stereo and French Stereo. Subtitles are on board in French and Spanish.
