Yesterday we
posted a story about
The Simpsons - The Complete 12th Season on DVD, passing along that the folks at Fox Home Entertainment haven't announced the title yet, but that it is
available to pre-order from Amazon.com right away. No release date is given, but it shows a $49.98 list price, and possible package art (as we said yesterday, this may not be final artwork!) featuring Comic Book Guy on the cover.
But this listing we became aware of over the weekend isn't the only one! Today we've found out that there's
an additional pre-order listing at Amazon, for
The Simpsons - The Complete 12th Season (Limited Edition Comic Book Guy Head). Like the standard-box edition, this also lists for $49.98 SRP, but can be locked in at a discounted price if you pre-purchase it from Amazon. Unlike the listing of the standard-box version, there's no package art picture shown...at least as of the time of this writing.
Artwork shown on overseas listings for the same title are said to be unreliable, and not necessarily studio-provided art. Also, our experience is that artwork can vary - in large or small ways - from Region to Region, so we'll wait on a graphic known to be for the North American release before we bring it to you. Stay tuned, though, and we'll post that - and any other new info - for you just as soon as we can!
