Best Buy has been known for their special offers from time-to-time, and among them have been a series of free "sneak preview" DVDs from Fox. They've done at least 5 so far, including
one for 24 last August. They have another one coming out this Tuesday, and it's certainly of interest to the TV-on-DVD crowd.
On
June 15th Best Buy will start distributing a preview DVD for Fox's upcoming "Summer Season" of TV shows, and the focus is on
The Simple Life 2: Road Trip, starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. This will be available for you to check out the day before Wednesday's premiere of the new season of the show, where the girls hit the road from Miami Beach, with only the bare necessities and a single destination in mind: Beverly Hills. 3 other new Fox shows are also previewed on the disc. Note that while the ad says that distribution is limited to those who purchase season sets of
The Simpsons, Family Guy or
Futurama, that's not what the box says. There is a big red circular sticker on these that say "
Free preview disc with purchase of any Fox TV DVD." That ought to give you
about 80 choices, including next Tuesday's release of
The Simpsons - The Complete 4th Season.
