Simon & Simon - Season 5 would be available on DVD this coming
July 20th, as part of the studio's online-sold
Shout! Select program. While the studio hasn't listed the title at that web page yet, but sharp-eyed reader Becky Brewster (thanks!) spotted it among the upcoming titles at
Shout!'s New Releases page. The date is confirmed, and the cost shown is $49.99 (plus shipping and handling). This may only be the fifth season out of the eight that aired, but Shout! is still included a nice bonus in the form of the 1995 post-series reunion telefilm, "
In Trouble Again." That's detailed in the studio description above, and one detail to remember is that this release will NOT be sold in stores; it's ONLY available at Shout! Factory's online shop at the above link.
