knew they were working on it, but we didn't know when we would see the DVD release of the full-length, restored version of the classic miniseries
Shogun.
Well, the cat is out of the bag this morning, as
DVDFile mentions a wave of September releases from Paramount:

We have a note in to Paramount this morning asking for any additional details they can provide. We already know from a January story in the
Honolulu Advertiser that star Richard Chamberlain has taped interview footage at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa for possible use on the DVD; what other surprises are in store for us? Stand by, and we'll fill you in just as soon as we get word.
